Syed Kamall was delighted to launch the brand-new Entrepreneurial Minds seminar series with a fantastic inaugural event at the Enterprise Hub, Vinson Building, University of Buckingham on 16 October 2025. The series, a joint initiative between the Vinson Centre, the Institute of Economic Affairs, and the Buckingham Enterprise and Innovation Unit, features Syed Kamall interviewing leading entrepreneurs about their experiences and the lessons they have learned.
The first guest was Dr Mario Peters, an educational and social entrepreneur with degrees from UCL, Edinburgh, and Oxford. Dr Peters began his career in space technology research at Oxford before going on to found a number of educational and social enterprises. In a warm and engaging conversation, he generously shared his entrepreneurial journey and offered invaluable insights for the aspiring entrepreneurs in attendance. It was a wonderful way to kick off the series.
