Syed Kamall hosted the inaugural event in the new Entrepreneurial Minds seminar series at the Enterprise Hub, Vinson Building, University of Buckingham on 16 October 2025. The series, a joint initiative between the Vinson Centre, the Institute of Economic Affairs, and the Buckingham Enterprise and Innovation Unit, features Lord Kamall interviewing leading entrepreneurs about their experiences and the lessons they have learned.
The first guest was Dr Mario Peters, an educational and social entrepreneur with degrees from UCL, Edinburgh, and Oxford. Dr Peters began his career in space technology research at Oxford before going on to found a number of educational and social enterprises. He shared his entrepreneurial journey and offered insights for aspiring entrepreneurs in attendance.
