Are we getting a good deal from the EU when it comes to the way our money is spent? Are funds being used in the right places and if not, what can we do to improve the situation?
In this short video I ask Andrew Lewer, MEP for East Midlands (@ALewerMEP) about the work we are doing as a group (@ECRgroup) to get a good deal for you and to make sure that your money is being spent in the right places.
One of the topics we discuss is whether money should be given more in the form of loans than as handouts. We also talk about who should be making the decisions about where money is spent. Should decisions be made at the EU, national government or local level?
