On April 23rd, Syed Kamall officially launched a new signal box at Medstead and Four Marks Station on Hampshire’s beloved heritage railway, The Watercress Line. Designed and installed by skilled volunteers, this new signalling system meets modern railway standards while preserving the station’s historic charm. During his visit, Kamall met with volunteers and The Watercress Line’s CEO, Rebecca Dalley, and unveiled a plaque commemorating the project. He praised the dedication and expertise of the volunteer team, highlighting their significant contribution to maintaining and enhancing this cherished heritage railway.
