I am really pleased to announce that my fellow MEPs in the ECR group have decided to re-elect me tonight as Chairman of the ECR group in the European Parliament.
It is important that we continue to drive home the message that the EU must change and it cannot go on as it is.
The ECR group wants to see a better EU that does less but does that better. This means it needs to reform so that it can focus on what really matters to the people of Europe, jobs and prosperity.
I made this statement shortly after I was re-elected.
