Today I attended the European Parliament’s grand Diwali celebration. The festival of lights is such a great time of year when Hindu culture brings us an event with such vitality and warmth.
It’s also a truly inclusive event where everyone of every faith (and no faith) is welcome to share in the festivities.
The event was co-led by the Chair of the European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with India and my fellow ECR colleague Geoffrey Van Orden MEP.
