Reacting to the Prime Minister’s speech today, London’s Conservative MEP Syed Kamall said:

“She laid out a clear vision of our future relationship with the EU.

“The tone was firm but pragmatic. For those willing to listen there was plenty of detail.

“The speech was bold, positive and determined. It will have reminded our negotiating partners that we are reasonable, co-operative and collaborative –  but no soft touch.”
