Ahead of the recent Conservative Party Conference, I wrote a piece for the think tank Bright Blue about the need for Conservatives to unite over Brexit.
There has been a lot of debate and discussion since the EU referendum but now is the time for us all to work together to ensure that we deliver on the decision of the British people and to deliver the future this country deserves.
In this piece I accept that “It won’t always be comfortable or easy, but at this moment, we have a duty to unite.”
The Prime Minister recognised this herself. As I say in the article, Theresa May “appreciates that the real prize here is not votes or seats. It is our country’s future.”
