I have been contacted by a constituent regarding the London Olympic Stadium.
Could the Commission please notify me whether any correspondence or communications have occurred between any UK Government bodies and EU institutions regarding the issue of state aid and the London Olympic Stadium (or organisations with some financial or equity stake in either the management or ownership of the stadium) and provide the dates and content of these correspondences or communications?

| There was correspondence between the authorities of the United Kingdom and the Commission regarding the issue of state aid and the London Olympic Stadium.
The correspondence consisted of Commission letters, dated 4 October 2011, 10 April 2013 and 7 January 2014, to the United Kingdom forwarding the complaints and documents submitted by complainants. The replies by the United Kingdom, dated 28 October 2011, 9 April 2013, 2 May 2013 and 4 February 2014, explain the competitive process for selecting the person to whom the lease of the Stadium was awarded, and the commercial arrangements regarding the use of the stadium. |
