On May 1, 2025, Syed Kamall took part in a thought-provoking roundtable at the House of Lords, hosted by Intergenerational England to mark Global Intergenerational Week. The event brought together leaders from housing associations, community organisations, the arts, and government to explore how intergenerational approaches can build stronger, more connected communities.
Lord Kamall underscored the importance of creating spaces where all generations feel valued, stating: “Just bringing people together to listen and learn from each other’s point of view is hugely valuable to us as individuals and as a society.”
