Hello,

We will look back on 2016 as a historic year as our country voted to leave the European Union. As this year closes we now look to the future. 2017 will bring with it opportunities and challenges as we begin to understand how our departure will take place and what future lies ahead.

In my role as an ME In my role as an MEP for London, it is part of my job to scrutinise EU economic policy, financial regulation and internal trade on several different committees. While we have voted to leave, we are still currently a member of the European Union and this role continues as the decisions made by the European Parliament still currently affect our day-to-day life.

Whatever your view on Brexit, or however you voted in the referendum, I want to hear your views. It is important that politicians listen to their constituents and reflect their views, so I want to know what is important to you over the next few years? What information do you feel you need about the European Parliament, that you are not getting? What do you need to know about Britain’s relationship with the EU now and in the future? What do you think those involved in this process need to consider?

I would really appreciate it if you can take two minutes out of your day to fill in this survey. If you want to save the price of a stamp, you can fill it online at www.syedkamall.co.uk/survey.

Your views really matter to me, even more so at this important time.
Yours sincerely
Syed Kamall
Member of the European Parliament for London
